Timex launches new smartwatch line with Aashim Gulati

Global watchmaking brand Timex has launched a new smartwatch line in India with Bollywood actor Aashim Gulati. The new product line features eight SKUs and each smartwatch offers calling capabilities and fitness tracking features. 

“We are very excited about our latest IConnect Calling smart watch range,” said Timex India’s managing director Deepak Chhabra in a press release. “In the recent years, watches are no longer seen as a mere timekeeping device but also a distinctive fashionable accessory with functionality. We are thrilled to have Aashim Gulati as the face for our new range as he reflects the perfect combination of fashion and fitness. His impressive work has earned him widespread recognition, particularly among the youth, who constitute our target consumers. We know we’ve made a ‘smart’ choice’.” 
 
The Timex IConnect line enables the wearer to answer calls from their wrist through Bluetooth calling and track their health data including their heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep. With changeable watch faces and a full-colour touch screen display, the IConnect line bolsters Timex India’s smartwatch offering to tap into the fast growing product category.
