The Jaipur Jewellery Show launched its 19th edition at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sitapura with over 300 exhibitors from both India and overseas with the theme of ‘Emeralds… your stone your story’.
“Over time, Jaipur has expanded beyond its fame for cutting and polishing gemstones,” said Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council chairman Vipul Shah, the GJEPC reported on its website. “It is now a hub for making all kinds of jewellery- be it gold, silver, diamond-studded, or jewels with colourful gems. JJS is a befitting showcase of this strength and encapsulates Jaipur’s essence.”
The business to customer event was inaugurated on December 22 by the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Diya Kumari and concludes on December 25. Describing itself as the largest B2C jewellery event in India, the Jaipur Jewellery Show saw its number of booths increase by 18% compared to its 2022 edition with over 1,100 occupied booths at its current edition.
The event welcomed five international trade delegations to facilitate networking towards boosting international trade. The show features a business to business segment named ‘The Pink Club’ as well as a segment for up and coming jewellery designers named ‘Jaipur Jewellery Designer Festival’.
