Lingerie and lifestyle brand Victoria’s Secret has set up two new stores in South India to meet the region’s growing demand for Apparel Group India brands. The new stores are located in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia and in Hyderabad’s Inorbit Mall, which will open its doors to the public on December 16.
“At Apparel Group, we are not merely expanding our footprint; we are opening gateways for global brands to seamlessly integrate into the fabric of India,” said Apparel Group India’s president Tushar Ved in a press release on December 12. “We wanted to bring iconic Victoria’s Secret brand closer to our customers in South India. These new stores represent our dedication to understanding local preferences while delivering an unmatched shopping experience.”
Apparel Group India has researched the tastes and cultural nuances prevalent in the South Indian market to curate a targeted product selection for its new stores. The brand has chosen specific cuts, colours, and designs which are tailored to resonate with local customers.
The new Bengaluru store houses Victoria’s Secret’s lingerie and sleepwear lines including its ‘Dream Angels’ and ‘Victoria’s Secret Pink’ collections. The store also retails a selection of beauty products and accessories.
Victoria’s Secret retails in India through Apparel Group India Private Limited, the Indian arm of Dubai-based apparel giant Apparel Group. The business retails over 80 fashion and lifestyle brands.
