The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has brought its international visitor campaign for its upcoming trade show India International Jewellery Show Signature to Kuwait. The traders’ body has carried out a range of door-to-door promotions and met with 23 fine jewellery brands.
The GJEPC’s Kuwait campaign saw the Indian delegation establish relationships with local jewellery brands to promote its upcoming trade show and record local market trends to enable Indian manufacturers to cater to the local market, the GJEPC announced on its website. The GJEPC met with Al Zummorudah, La Marquise, Zinah & Khazinah, Taiba Al Kuwait, Al Fatina Global Golden Jewellery, Diamond Jewellery, Mousa Hussein Al Sayegh, and Jannat Al-Kuwait among other local jewellery labels. The traders’ body will next take its campaign to Qatar then Oman.
“We are delighted to announce that the first phase of IIJS Signature 2024 received a staggering response from the gem and jewellery industry as the registration kept pouring till the final hours of phase closing,” announced the GJEPC on Facebook about domestic visitor registration for the trade show. “We have recorded 14,000 plus impressive entries in the first phase and the counting continues!”
The upcoming edition of IIJS Signature will take place across two venues in Mumbai. From January 4 to 7, the event will run at the Jio World Convention Centre and it will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from January 5 to 8. IIJS Signature will showcase product categories including gold, diamond, and precious gemstone jewellery as well as machinery, technology, and related services.
