Caprese expands offering with colour-changing handbag line

Accessories brand Caprese has expanded its product offering and launched its first ever colour-changing handbag line in India. Bags in the ‘Aurora Collection’ change colour when exposed to sunlight to create multiple looks in one. 

“At Caprese, we are inspired by the ever-changing beauty of the natural world,” said Caprese’s business head Pushpita Gaur in a press release on November 27. “The Aurora Collection is an experience, a reflection of that beauty.”
 
The bag line features shoulder bags, backpacks, and tote bags which are made from photochromic material, a fabric which changes colour in sunlight. The bags begin as classic, white accessories and change into a rainbow of hues and patterns in what Caprese calls an India first. Notable pieces in the collection include a carry-all bag which has a pink pattern emerge in the sunlight and a backpack which transforms from white into pastel yellow, purple, and blue. 

“The real charm of the Aurora Collection lies in its transformative ability, making it a true game-changer in the world of fashion accessories,” announced the brand in a press release. The collection is designed to engage shoppers and capture the attention of India’s youth. Bags in the collection are priced from Rs 3,299 to Rs 4,999.
