Fashion jewellery brand Gargi by P.N. Gadgil & Sons has opened its second group-owned store in Pune in the city’s Wakad district. The store retails a range of brass and 92.5 sterling silver jewellery as well as Gargi by PNGS’ recently launched diamond collection.
“We’re thrilled to open another group-owned store in Pune, further strengthening our presence in this vibrant city,” said Gargi by PNGS’ co-founder Aditya Modak in a press release on November 10. “This latest milestone reflects our commitment to reaching more customers and providing them with our distinctive, high-quality jewellery pieces. We are excited to continue this journey and expand our footprint further.”
The brand has expanded into a number of new areas recently and opened within nine multi-brand chain Shoppers Stop stores across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Nashik. Gargi by PNGS has also launched a franchise outlet in Mumbai’s Vashi district.
Gargi by PNGS plans to continue to open brick-and-mortar stores across India to fuel its growth. The business aims to become a Rs 100 crore company in the coming two years.
Gargi by PNGS is named after the ancient Indian female scholar from the Ramayana era, Gargi Vachaknavi. The business is run by jewellery brand P.N. Gadgil & Sons which has an average annual turnover of over Rs 10,000 crore, according to the company’s press release.
