Menswear brand Barcelona has bolstered its brick-and-mortar retail presence in Uttar Pradesh and opened an exclusive brand outlet in Bijnor at the city’s Rajat Hotel.
“Exciting news – Barcelona has spread its fashion magic to Bijnor, UP,” announced the brand on Facebook. “Elevate your style with Barcelona’s latest trends. Visit us at Barcelona fashion stores, located at Rajat Hotel, Station Chowk, Najibabad Road, Bijnor.”
The new store features a dedicated segment for denim with a variety of washes and cuts. Other casual wear staples displayed in-store include checked button-downs, graphic t-shirts, and sweaters.
The outlet opened with a number of inaugural offers for shoppers including any three plain coloured t-shirts for Rs 999. The store has a glass façade which features Barcelona’s signature dark blue brand banner.
Earlier in October, Barcelona made its brick-and-mortar debut in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The brand has also recently opened exclusive brand outlets in Patna, Hamirpur, Goa, Pune, Visnagar, and Mahoba. The brand focuses on non-metro locations for its store openings to cater to the growing demand for branded western wear in Tier 2 cities.
Entrepreneur Jaimin Gupta launched Barcelona in 2015 in Ahmedabad as a mid-priced men’s western wear label. Barcelona plans to launch an initial public offering in the near future, although a date has yet to be set.
