In her new role, Vidal Dans will oversee the U.S. fashion brand’s entire product creation process, setting the strategic direction for the global product development framework. She will also partner closely with Calvin Klein design and supply on a cohesive end-to-end product offering, said the New York brand in a press release.

Vidal Dans joins the Calvin Klein team from Inditex, where she most recently led the product strategy for the Zara Group and its sustainability innovation hub. Prior to that, she oversaw the design, sourcing and product divisions, where she led a team of 100 and built product strategies for Zara’s more than 200 commercial markets.

“Eva Vidal Dans is a seasoned merchandising and product executive whose creativity, inspirational leadership style and deep fashion expertise will help strengthen and grow Calvin Klein’s product offering,” said Serrano.

“I am confident that her ability to excel in end-to-end product creation and commitment to building strong teams will drive our brand forward.”

Last month, Calvin Klein revealed plans to open a new store on Paris’s Champs-Élysées, spanning 440 square metres, ready for the Olympic Games in the French capital this summer.
