VKC forays into exclusive brand outlets, opens first ‘My VKC’ store in Chennai

Footwear manufacturer VKC Group has forayed into exclusive brand outlets and opened its first ‘My VKC’ store in Chennai’s Red Hills. The business plans to open My VKC stores across India to retail a wide selection of shoes. 

“We are extremely pleased to embark on a new journey with exclusive outlets while strengthening our traditional distribution model,” said VKC Group’ director VKC Razak in a press release. “This not only amplifies VKC’s longstanding commitment to quality but also signals a dynamic shift towards serving the diverse needs of the common Indian citizen.”
 
The launch of the first My VKC store was accompanied by the launch of a new marketing campaign with Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. The ‘My VKC. My Store’ integrated campaign highlights the brand’s values and showcases the wide selection of its in-house brands available in-store. 

The new Chennai outlet retails VKC Group footwear brands including VKC Pride, VKC Debon, GoodSpot, Eezy, Debongo, and Ja.May.Ka as well as Orthocare footwear. The store is designed to house a wide range of footwear styles at affordable prices. 
 
VKC Group will expand My VKC stores with a franchise model. The business will continue to retail its footwear through multi-brand outlets across India and will use its My VKC stores to bolster its presence in less covered areas, according to its press release.
