Smart wearables brand Noise has signed a joint venture agreement with Il Jin Electronics, a subsidiary arm of Amber Enterprises India Limited to boost its manufacturing in India.
With this partnership, Noise aims to fuel the growth of the smart wearable ecosystem by boosting manufacturing locally through in-house infrastructure development for product assembly, hardware design, and component manufacturing.
Commenting on the association, Amit Khatri, co-founder of Noise in a statement said, “Our partnership with Il Jin Electronics is a milestone in our mission to strengthen India’s manufacturing capabilities. Our commitment to delivering high-quality ‘Made in India’ smart wearables is unwavering. Going forward, this partnership will leverage our expertise to enhance domestic manufacturing, fuel category expansion, and stimulate ecosystem-wide growth.”
Jasbir Singh, chairman CEO of Amber Enterprises India Limited added, “We are happy to partner with Noise. Through this partnership, we look forward to creating a local ecosystem for wearables and other smart electronic products, contributing further to the larger ‘Make in India’ initiative.”
Noise has been focusing on manufacturing its products in India and claims to have made 95 percent of its goods domestically last fiscal. The business also shipped over three million smartwatches which were made in India.
