Anaar showcases footwear during New York Fashion Week

Indian footwear brand Anaar showcased its latest designs during the US’ New York Fashion Week by featuring in a number of runway shows in partnership with clothing designers. The brand has stated that it is the first Indian footwear brand to feature in New York Fashion Week. 

“Anaar’s maiden appearance at NYFW not only marks a groundbreaking feat but also serves as a beacon of cultural pride,” said brand founder Tanushri Biyani in a press release on September 12. “This moment brings together the elegance of Indian tradition and the allure of contemporary fashion onto a global stage.”
 
Anaar showcased some of its latest designs at the Kish Jeane runway show which paired its glittering heels with Jeane’s dramatic gowns. Anaar’s new season launches include ‘Kitten Pumps’, ‘Perfect Platforms’, ‘Classic Sneakers’ and ‘Wedge Sneakers’.

Entrepreneur Tanushri Biyani launched Anaar in January 2023 and made a striking debut with its signature bridal sneaker line. The brand has swiftly become known for its opulently embellished platform sneakers and also retails heels and men’s footwear. 
 
“As we eagerly await the next chapter in Anaar’s journey, their NYFW debut serves as a resounding declaration- that fashion is not just what you wear, but how you wear it, and Anaar is here to show us the way forward, one stylish step at a time,” announced the brand in a press release.
