Honasa Consumer Limited’s personal care brand Mamaearth has partnered with Apollo Pharmacy to retail its range of products across their 5,000 outlets across India.
The partnership with Apollo Pharmacy is expected to widen Mamaearth’s customer base and boost sales of its products.
Commenting on the partnership, Varun Alagh, co-founder CEO of Honasa Consumer Limited in a statement said, “This agreement is an extension of our endeavour to make safe and natural products accessible to consumers across India. With Apollo Pharmacy’s extensive retail network, we can now reach even more consumers who prioritise clean and sustainable beauty and personal care products.”
Madhava Krishna, business head at Apollo Pharmacy added, “We saw demand for Mamaearth at our stores and since the launch, we have seen an increase in the uptake of the brand across all locations. We see potential in the partnership, and we believe that the business will continue to grow.”
Mamaearth launched as a digital-first brand and forayed into brick-and-mortar retail for the first time in 2021. Since opening its first exclusive brand outlet, the brand has spread its offline retail footprint across India.
