Menswear brand Barcelona has bolstered its brick-and-mortar presence in the northern state of Bihar and opened a new exclusive brand outlet in Patna in the city’s Patliputra Colony.
“Get Ready, Patna,” announced Barcelona on Facebook. “A brand new Barcelona store has just launched and it’s going to be your new favourite place to shop. Hurry up and visit now!”
The store is located at Zee Saheb The Supermarket on its lower ground floor. The new store has a large segment dedicated to denim with a variety of men’s styles and washes. The store also retails the brand’s selection of casual wear staples including graphic t-shirts and check shirts among other designs.
Barcelona has opened a significant number of exclusive brand outlets so far this year with a focus on non-metro locations. In August, the brand debuted in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur and also opened its first store in Goa in June. The brand has also recently opened stores in cities including Pune, Visnagar, Mahoba, Kota, and Dapoli among others.
Barcelona plans to launch an initial public offering in the near future, although a date has yet to be set. Entrepreneur Jaimin Gupta launched Barcelona in 2015 in Ahmedabad. The brand specialises in men’s western wear including denim and polo shirts as well as semi formal wear and accessories and plans to expand its product categories as the business grows.
