Footwear and accessories brand Aldo has opened its 60th brick-and-mortar store in India to date in the recently opened Mall of Ranchi. The outlet is the Canadian brand’s first in the Jharkhand state capital.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of Aldo’s newest store in Mall of Ranchi making it the brands first store in Ranchi and the 60th in India,” Apparel Group India Private Limited announced in a post on Linkedin.
The store launched with a large display dedicated to the new collaborative ‘Disney x Aldo’ collection which features bags and shoes inspired by the world of Disney. The store also has a large segment dedicated to men’s formal footwear, with numerous designs on sale.
The right hand side of the store is dedicated to the brand’s women’s collections including handbags, high heels, sandals, and smart-casual loafers among other products. The men’s section on the left hand side of the store features leather backpacks, briefcases, sneakers, and leather slip on shoes.
The Mall of Ranchi was launched at the end of July this year by real estate and construction company Pranami Group. Aldo joins fashion and lifestyle brands in the mall including Levi’s, Biba, and Arrow.
Bijay Kumar Agarwal launched Pranami Group in Ranchi in 2002 and the business provides both commercial and residential properties. Ranchi is an up-and-coming industrial region, according to Pranami Group’s brochure for the mall, available on its website.
