Amethyst brings Anavila’s pre-festive collection to Chennai for showcase with Tribe Amrapali

Multi-brand Indian fashion boutique Amethyst will bring womenswear brand Anavila’s pre-festive collection to Chennai for a showcase at its Royapettah boutique. The business to customer showcase will also feature silver jewellery by Tribe Amrapali.

Amethyst will present Anavila’s new collection ‘Saar’ at its event from August 24 to 26, the boutique on Whites Roadannounced in a press release. The collection is inspired by the Rajput School of Miniature Painting and the way the tradition mixes and contrasts colours. Breezy cotton sets are adorned with tiny floral embroidery designs or larger botanical elements for a feminine and thoughtful collection.
 
Anavila’s pre-festive line is priced from Rs 6,000 to Rs 86,000. “The mixing of colours that are so different yet extremely cohesive simultaneously builds this collection’s true essence,” announced Amethyst in a press release. “The play of soothing hues with bright tones on a blank canvas is as lyrical as the time period these paintings depict.”

The showcase will also feature Tribe Amrapali’s ethnic silver jewellery line from Jaipur. Priced from Rs 2,000 to Rs 1 lakh, the collection is designed to pay homage to heritage aesthetics while modernising them for a contemporary audience. The collection features necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings which are crafted to fit with both traditional wear and fusion style looks.
