Children’s wear brand Mackly expands offering with new maternity wear line

Children’s wear brand Mackly has expanded its product offering and launched a new line of maternity wear to enable it to cater to mothers and mothers-to-be as well as children. The brand’s maiden maternity line features athleisure wear and sleep wear. 

“We understand the transformative journey expectant mothers undertake and strongly believe their attire should reflect their joy and confidence,” said Mackly’s founder Sharmila Srikumar in s press release on August 16. “The Maternity Range merges style and comfort, empowering women during this phase. Mackly’s voyage in children’s clothing has now come full circle, offering a comprehensive 360° range– from maternity wear to rompers, inner wear to sleepwear, and casual wear. Every aspect of children’s journey and clothing needs is thoughtfully embraced.”
 
The new line is designed to mix contemporary fashion trends with practical design and many of the garments are constructed to be able to grow along with a pregnant woman’s body. The collection includes a range of ‘feeding nighties’ for nursing mothers and a selection of maternity gowns among others. 

Sharmila Srikumar launched Mackly in India in 2016 with the aim of offering safe and high-quality children’s wear. The brand uses phthalate-free prints and tests its clothing with international safety standards, according to Mackly.
