Value fashion chain Citykart has bolstered its brick-and-mortar presence in Uttar Pradesh by opening a new store in Sultanpur. The new store measures 11,274 square feet and features three floors of clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.
The store launch marks Citykart’s 93rd store opening in India, India Retailing reported. The outlet is located in a busy location opposite Sultanpur’s District Hospital and is Citykart’s second to date in the city.
The store retails a mix of ethnic, traditional, and western wear and caters to a wide range of age groups. Along with fashion, footwear, and accessories, the store also retails a wide selection of lifestyle products, games and toys, stationery, household goods, home décor, and sports equipment among other products.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to our newest store in Sultanpur,” said Citykart’s founder and CEO Sudhanshu Agarwal, India Retailing reported. “The love and appreciation that the people have shown us is testimony to the fact that customers always appreciate quality products at reasonable rates.”
Citykart recently launched its summer sale with its ‘Bachat Ki Baarish’ promotion, the business announced on Facebook. Offering double digit discounts across apparel merchandise, the business aims to drive footfall this summer.
Sudhanshu Agarwal founded Citykart in 2016 and the business has a retail presence across seven states in North India. The business plans to continue to expand its offline retail presence and open 250 more stores in the coming three years.
