Fashion and lifestyle giant Apparel Group has named Sneha Mahant Mehta as its new chief marketing officer. In her new role, Mahant Mehta will lead the promotional activities for its array of international clothing and beauty brands in India.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as head [of] marketing (Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Charles & Keith, Aldo, and more) at Apparel Group India Private Limited,” wrote Sneha Mahant Mehta on Linkedin.
Mahant Mehta has over 14 years of experience working with large fashion and lifestyle businesses and has previously held positions at Vogue, GQ India, Ocean Blue Boating Private Limited, Gulf News, and Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, India Retailing reported. As head if marketing, Mahant Mehta will use her experience to engage Indian consumers and build brand awareness for Apparel Group’s labels in the country.
Apparel Group is based in the UAE and is responsible for marketing over 80 brands with a focus on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle labels including Tommy Hilfiger, Beverly Hills Polo Club, Inglot, Nine West, and La Senza among others. The business was launched by Sima Ved in 1996.
