10 Vacation destinations that you didn’t know existed

Must read

Some people go on holiday to the same campsite in northern Italy for years, that’s not for us. We want to see new and special places in the world. This naturally also includes special hotels.

That is why we have made a top 10 with the most special and magical hotels in the world.

Be quick when booking these hotels, as they are fully booked well in advance.

Number 10: Icehotel, Sweden

This is the ideal place for people who are in love with the winter landscape as this truly is a winter wonderland.

Everything here is made of snow and ice, except, of course, your mattress, blanket, and pillow. The room is also unique. In one room, you might sleep in a boat, in the other beneath the face of an angry bear.

It’s not as cold as it seems, so you don’t have to worry about that. Just as you don’t have to worry about your drink being served hot as it is served in a glass entirely made of ice.

It is also one of the most beautiful locations to get married as there is also a church made entirely of ice.

Number 9: The Manta Resort, Tanzania

A beautiful view is important for many people when choosing a hotel and this hotel certainly passes the test with flying colors.

The Manta Resort provides you something truly unique as you will find your bedroom to be underwater here! Your room is made of four glass walls, so you can see all the sea creatures swimming past you from your bed.

Imagine reading a book and an octopus or a manta ray is coming to say hello!

Number 8: Sala Silvermine Underground Suite, Sweden

Unlike the previous one, this hotel has no view at all. Your room here is 155 meters below the ground and there are of course no windows.

These suites are built into a historic silver mine in Sweden. To reach your room you first have to walk through the dark and damp mine corridors.

Don’t forget to bring warm clothing! Although the suite is heated, the corridor that leads to it is not.

Another advantage: your phone is not connected here, so you can fully charge all your batteries during your stay.

Number 7: Skylodge Adventure Suites, Peru

Sleeping in this room, you will wake up in the morning and certainly feel as though you are still sleeping.

You are constantly surrounded by large schools of fish, even when you are in the bathtub and we do believe that this is the greatest thing about this hotel in the first place.

Watching the Northern Lights is on the bucket list of many people. The most unique way to do this is by sleeping in these glass igloos.

What could be more romantic than watching the Aurora together with your partner from your bed?

These igloos are originally from Japan since the Japenese believed that making love under the Northern Lights will give you a son.

This is of course not true, but these unique igloos are, nevertheless, the best way to enjoy the magic of the Aurora.

Number 2: Ladera Resort, St. Lucia
