Zara opens new Bengaluru store at Phoenix Mall of Asia

Apparel and accessories brand Zara has launched a new store in Bengaluru in the metro’s Phoenix Mall of Asia. Measuring 36,000 square feet, the new exclusive brand outlet has a range of technological features and is the label’s 24th store in India to date.

The Inditex Group brand’s store is located on the first floor of the mall and caters to men, women, and children, Zara announced in a press release. The outlet also has a dedicated ‘boutique’ space for its baby wear collection which is a first for the brand in the Indian market.
 
The store’s façade has been built following the updated Zara design concept, which includes an ‘Infinity’ stone texture finish and brushed stainless steel portal ceilings. Inside the store, white and neutral tones are accented with pops of colour with the aim of creating a modern, inviting ambience.
 
A number of technological tools have been employed to boost customer experience including in-store pick-up for online orders, fitting room reservation, product location on the shop floor through the Zara mobile app, smart fitting rooms, and dedicated returns counters for both in-store and e-commerce purchases. The store also has 13 self-checkout counters and six normal cash counters.
 
The new Zara store prioritises energy-efficiency by using lower impact materials, energy-saving LED lighting, and efficient heating and cooling systems, according to the brand. This is part of Zara’s focus on increasing sustainability in its operations.
