YSL Beauty makes South India debut in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia

YSL’s makeup brand YSL Beauty has opened its first exclusive brand outlet in a South Indian shopping centre in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia. The store launch follows the global label’s India debut earlier in the year and brings its colour cosmetics to the metro’s shoppers.

“Another first in town,” wrote Phoenix Mall of Asia’s general manager of leasing Tanul Bheda on Linkedin. “Thrilled to share YSL Beauty has launched their first outlet in South India at Mall of Asia.”
 
The YSL Beauty store retails products ranging from mascara, eye shadow palettes, and lipsticks to foundations and products for the skin. YSL Beauty entered the Indian market with multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa in July this year and recently opened its first flagship store in the country in New Delhi.
 
Originally established in 2001 under the banner of the L’Oréal Group, YSL Beauty is designed to translate the aesthetics and heritage of the Yves Saint Laurent fashion house into premium makeup products. The brand’s products are also available on Nykaa’s multi-brand e-commerce store, which ships across India.
 
YSL Beauty joins beauty brands in Phoenix Mall of Asia including Laura Mercier, Sephora, and Shiseido among others. The mall launched a beauty festival on November 15 featuring over 30 Indian and international labels to offer interactive demonstrations and makeovers to shoppers, the mall announced on Facebook.
