Home salon and beauty business Yes Madam has launched its first ever brick-and-mortar experience centre as it forays into omni-channel retail. The business plans to launch two more experience centres this August and 20 by the end of the 2025 financial year.
The business will focus on Delhi NCR for its initial phase of offline expansion, ET Retail reported. Yes Madam is confident that there will be swift uptake at its offline locations and predicts that brick-and-mortar retail will contribute around 20% of its total revenue by the end of the current fiscal year.
“At present, we are only going to focus on Delhi/ NCR and after covering Delhi/ NCR, we will be moving to the other parts of India,” Yes Madam’s CEO and co-founder Mayank Arya told the Economic Times. “Whatever limitations we have in the online space like hair colour, nail art, laser treatment etc, we are going to explore them in the offline space.”
Yes Madam plans to launch all of its upcoming stores as company owned and company operated entities. The business expects the capital expenditure required to open a store measuring around 1,000 square feet to be around Rs 20 lakh.
Along with expanding offline, Yes Madam also plans to widen its online reach. The business has an online presence in 56 Indian cities and aims to launch in new locations including Kochi and Kolkata this year.
