Wrangler expands retail presence in India with six new stores

Wrangler, a global denim brand has expanded its retail presence in the Indian market with the opening of six new stores in cities across the country.

The new Wrangler stores were opened in the regions of Ujjain, Goa, Indore, Bilaspur, Katihar and Bareilly.

Each Wrangler store spanning over an area of 1,000 sq ft will offer customers a curated selection of denim products and accessories.

Commenting on the expansion, Nitin Chhabra, CEO of Ace Turtle, the exclusive licensee of Wrangler in India in a statement said, “We are seeing a remarkable rise in customers from emerging markets, a clear testament to Wrangler’s status as a beloved global brand. Our new exclusive brand outlets reflect our dedication to bringing Wrangler closer to our customers in high-demand regions, combining the ease of online shopping with the distinct, immersive experience of physical retail stores.”

“We plan to open over 60 new retail stores for Wrangler in India over the next year,” he added.

With this expansion, Wrangler’s retail footprint in India currently stands at 58 exclusive brand outlets.
