Beauty and wellness business Wow Skin Science recently launched colour cosmetics brand Color Cupid and expects to report profitability in its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation by the end of the 2026 financial year as it continues to widen its product offering.
Wow Skin Science is eyeing between 20% and 25% growth for Color Cupid by the end of the 2025 financial year, the Economic Times reported. In order to accelerate the brand’s growth trajectory, it will launch new product categories during the busy festive season while positioning itself as a mass premium brand.
“During phase two, we will be launching 20 more SKUs, and during phase three, we will be revealing more innovations under the brand,” Wow Skin Science’s co-founder Manish Chowdhary told ET Retail. “We will be launching phase two of expansion during the festive season and pressing the peddle on phase three of expansion by this calendar year’s end.”
The business plans to initially focus on expanding Color Cupid online to follow on from Wow Skin Science’s strengths and brand history. Color Cupid retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store as well as on multi-brand marketplaces including Amazon India.
“It will be a digital-first approach, at least for the first two quarters before we foray into offline,” said Chowdhary. “Eventually, we also plan to open EBOs [exclusive brand outlets] by next year.”
