Home and lifestyle business WoodenStreet has launched its 102nd store to date in New Delhi’s Rohini neighbourhood. Spanning more than 3,000 square feet, the store is situated on the main outer ring road.
“Delhi has always been a key market for us, and the opening of our 102nd store in Rohini is a significant step forward in our mission to bring world-class furniture closer to customers,” said WoodenStreet’s CEO Lokendra Ranawat, India Retailing reported. “With this launch, we aim to provide its residents with furniture solutions that reflect their lifestyle and preferences.”
In October, WoodenStreet opened its 101st India store in Lucknow, the business announced on Facebook. The beginning of October had seen the company reach the 100 brick-and-mortar store mark with its launch in Udaipur at the city’s Urban Square Mall.
WoodenStreet has been focusing on brick-and-mortar expansion for growth and had stated in September last year that it plans to launch a total of 300 stores in the coming 36 months to connect more deeply with shoppers offline as it targets a revenue total of Rs 50 million. The business was established in 2015 and operates from 20 warehouses with 15 lakh square feet of manufacturing facilities and a network of more than 350 delivery hubs across the country.
