Home accessories, textiles, and furniture business Wooden Street has taken its pan-India brick-and-mortar retail total to 103 with the launch of its new store in Hyderabad. Located in the city’s AS Rao Nagar neighbourhood, the new outlet measures 5,500 square feet.
“The launch of our 103rd store in AS Rao Nagar is our vision of being a part of every Indian home,” said Wooden Street’s CEO Lokendra Ranawat, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Hyderabad is a city that beautifully balances tradition and modernity, and we are thrilled to bring our brand closer to the people here. Our focus remains on offering exceptional quality, thoughtful designs, and unmatched service to every customer who walks through our doors.”
The store will enable Wooden Street to connect with more shoppers in the state of Telangana as it works to widen its consumer base across the country. Inside the store, shoppers can browse a mixture of modern and traditional style home goods, selected from Wooden Street’s portfolio of more than 30,000 designs.
Wooden Street was established in 2015 and today counts more than 20 warehouses across India as well as a manufacturing unit measuring 15 lakh square feet. Over the coming years, the business plans to establish retail centres across metro, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.
