Home and lifestyle business Wooden Street has opened its 100th brick-and-mortar store. Located in Udaipur, the company owned, company operated store launched as the business next sets its sights on the 200 store mark.
“Reaching 100 stores is not just a milestone, it’s a testament to the trust and love our customers have shown us,” announced Wooden Street on Facebook. “From our very first store in 2015 to reaching 100 stores across India, it’s a moment of pride and joy for the entire Wooden Street family. We’re celebrating this milestone with open arms and even bigger smiles.”
The brand held numerous celebrations to mark the milestone amongst its employees including in its Jaipur office and in its manufacturing facilities. Wooden Street counts approximately 15 lakh square feet of manufacturing units in India. The brand also launched several promotional offers for shoppers to mark the occasion.
“We wouldn’t have reached this milestone without the trust and support of our customers, partners, and team members,” said Wooden Street’s co-founder and CEO Lokendra Ranawat, Retail 4 Growth reported. “As we move forward, we are committed to continuing to innovate and deliver the best possible experience to our customers while staying true to our origins. Wooden Street currently counts 19 stores in Bengaluru, 11 stores in Mumbai, 10 in Hyderabad, seven each in Pune and Chennai, five in Delhi NCR, four each in Kolkata and Jaipur, and three in Ahmedabad among other locations, according to the brand’s Facebook page.
