Value fashion retailer V2 Retail Ltd is planning to expand its retail footprint by opening over 90 stores over the next two years to take its store count to 250 and drive revenue growth.
The company’s store count currently stands at 158 and with this expansion it aims is targeting a revenue of Rs 2,800 crore ($328 million).
Additionally, the company will also strengthen its online presence with the launch its e-commerce website amd upgrade its existing stores in the first half of 2025.
“Last year we saw same-store sales growth (SSSG) of 31 percent, much higher than the industry average of 5-9 per cent. We aim to increase our revenue to Rs 2,800 crore with a network of 250 stores from the current 158 in the next two years,” Akash Agarwal, director at V2 Retail told Business Standard.
“We have also given a mandate to redesign our stores to upgrade the façade, lighting, and visual merchandising, which we’ll roll out in the next six months,” he added.
For the financial year 2024, V2 Retail Ltd had reported a net profit of Rs 28 crore with a revenue of Rs 1,165 crore.
