Value fashion and lifestyle retailer V2 Retail saw its standalone revenue from operations increase by 57.11% year-on-year in the first quarter of the 2025 financial year to total Rs 414.17 crore. The business’ growth was in part thanks to its ongoing brick-and-mortar expansion.
“Standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ended (QE) June 30, 2024, stood at Rs 414.17 crore,” announced V2 Retail in a filing, India Retailing reported. The business’ revenue from operations had totalled Rs 263.61 crore in the first quarter of the 2024 financial year.
V2 Retail witnessed same store sales growth of approximately 37% in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to the one before. The business also launched 10 new stores in the April to June quarter to reach shoppers offline in new localities.
As of June 30 this year, V2 Retail counted 127 brick-and-mortar stores across India with a total retail area of approximately 13.64 lakh square feet. The business is gearing up to launch two new outlets in Assam’s Diphu and Andhra Pradesh’s Gajuwaka, V2 Retail announced on Facebook. The new stores will house of 5,000 styles with both men’s and women’s apparel priced from Rs 149 to appeal to value oriented shoppers.
