Uniqlo to open Delhi and Mumbai stores this November

Apparel and lifestyle brand Uniqlo will launch its largest India store to date in Mumbai’s Phoenix Palladium Mall on November 22 then open a new store in New Delhi on November 29 at Pacific Mall Tagore Garden. The Japanese brand aims to bring its functional clothing to more Indian shoppers.

“Last year, we made our entry in Mumbai and received great appreciation and love for the brand,” said Uniqlo India’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer Kenji Inoue in a press release. “We are now thrilled to be launching our third and largest store in Mumbai at Phoenix Palladium. Meanwhile, we are also expanding our presence in Delhi NCR with our ninth store within this month. We are determined to make LifeWear more accessible to even more customers through our new stores.”
 
Both stores will retail Uniqlo’s full selection of ‘LifeWear’ functional basics for men and women. The outlets will also launch with a range of promotional offers for its first shoppers.
 
Uniqlo’s upcoming Phoenix Palladium Mumbai store will measure 18,380 square feet and will be made easily visible by the use of Uniqlo’s signature red branding. The store will also feature a 49 foot wide LED screen to present its key feature films and product line up.
 
At Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, Uniqlo will open a 12,930 square foot store, spread across two floors. The outlet will launch with a large tree installation in the mall’s atrium to promote the opening.
