Chennaiyin Football Club, an Indian Super League (ISL) outfit has signed a new agreement with Ultrahuman to be the club’s official wearable partner for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.

With this association, Chennaiyin FC will use Ultrahuman Ring AIR, the world’s lightest smart ring for its training program.

Ultrahuman claims that its AIR ring monitors heart rate, heart rate variability, stress, movement, and skin temperature.

Commenting on the association, Ekansh Gupta, vice president of Chennaiyin FC in a statement said, “Technology plays a crucial role in modern football, not just in improving performance but also in ensuring player safety and well-being. This partnership with Ultrahuman reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation, both on and off the pitch.”

Mohit Kumar, founder of Ultrahuman added, “We are thrilled to partner with Chennaiyin FC. With the Ring AIR, players and coaches will benefit from advanced insights derived from powerful biomarkers to support their performance, cognition, and recovery.”

As part of the deal, Ultrahuman will use the LED screens at Chennai’s home stadium to create health awareness and engage with content on Chennaiyin FC’s social media accounts.
