Tyaani by Karan Johar opens first Pune store

Film maker and media personality Karan Johar’s jewellery brand Tyaani has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Pune to retail its polki jewellery. The outlet is designed to enable the brand to further connect with shoppers in Maharashtra and launched with an inauguration ceremony.

Tyaani Jewellery LLP’s latest store is located on the ground floor at shop number one at East Ave Pillar in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar neighbourhood, according to the brand’s website. The store’s inauguration ceremony was presided over by Tyaani’s jewellery designer Maheep Kapoor, The Capital reported. Guests had an opportunity to meet Kapoor at the store opening and gain insights into the label’s design process.
 
The new store launched with over 2,000 jewellery designs, India Retailing reported. Featured jewellery includes maangtikas, earrings, rings, bangles, and necklaces among others.
 
The brand describes its offering as “polki jewellery for every occasion”, according to its Facebook page. Designed to shake up tradition, the label’s jewellery is colourful, bold, and designed to be worn with both traditional and fusion wear.
 
Tyaani also counts stores in locations including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Mumbai among others, according to its website. The label ships internationally through its direct to customer e-commerce store with both made to order and ready to ship options available.
