1. Raw milk moisturises skin

Raw milk is known to have moisturising properties that can aid in hydrating skin. It contains natural fats, proteins and water, which are all important for restoring and maintaining skin’s moisture balance. When applied topically, raw milk forms a protective layer on the skin, preventing moisture loss and leaving it soft and supple, says the expert.

2. Raw milk soothes and calms irritated skin

The anti-inflammatory properties of raw milk can provide relief for various skin issues such as acne, sunburn and irritation to skin. It helps calm irritated skin, reduces redness, and soothes discomfort, promoting faster healing.

3. Raw milk has anti-aging benefits

Rich in antioxidants like vitamins A, D, and E, as well as beta-casein proteins, raw milk can help in protecting skin from premature aging caused by free radicals. These antioxidants help to combat oxidative stress, promote collagen production and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. That means you can get a more youthful complexion, thanks to raw milk.

Raw milk can help to brighten and even out skin tone. According to Dr Panchal, the lactic acid present in raw milk is a gentle exfoliant that helps to remove dead skin cells. Once they are removed, you will get a brighter and more even complexion.
