Titan Company’s watch retail business Helios plans to expand its international brand offering and launch 10 global labels across its brick-and-mortar and online sales network. The business is also projecting robust growth for U-Boat, which it recently brought into its retail portfolio.
“Helios plans to launch 10 new international watch brands in the next 12 to 18 months,” Titan Company’s vice president and chief sakes and marketing officer for watches and wearables Rahul Shukla told the Press Trust of India.
Helios recently onboarded the Italian-made watch brand U-Boat, which is known for its oil-filled dials designed to create the illusion of the absence of glass and heighten legibility, according to its website. The label is expecting strong double-digit growth this festive season with Helios.
“The brand is forecasting a growth of 40% to 45% in overall sales, with 20% of this coming from new collections and limited editions,” said Shukla about U-Boat. “Additionally, targeted festive promotions and campaigns are expected to boost footfall and online sales by 20% to 25%.”
Tata Group business Titan Company operates 240 brick-and-mortar Helios stores in 95 Indian cities. Helios reported sales growth of 34% year on year in the 2024 financial year and also retails from its multi-brand e-commerce store, which retails labels including Tissot, Seiko, Balmain, Diesel, Fossil, Daniel Wellington, Michael Kors, and Guess among others.
