The Honest Home Company, a sustainable home and kitchenware brands has secured Rs 7 crore ($0.8 million) in its pre-series A funding round led by Ortella Global Capital (OG Capital). Entrepreneur Anupam Mittal also participated in the funding, alongside other angel investors.
The company will utilise the funds to scale operations, strengthen its supply chain, expand its product portfolio, and boost nationwide distribution.
Commenting on the funding, Mayank Sisodia, founder of The Honest Home Company in a statement said, “Our vision has always been to redefine the way Indian households approach sustainability. It is not just about offering eco-friendly products but creating a lifestyle movement that is affordable, practical, and accessible to everyone. This funding reflects the strong trust and confidence that both our customers and investors have in our mission.”
Gaurav Verma, co-founder of OG Capital added, “What sets The Honest Home Company apart is its strong product-market fit, exceptional supply chain capabilities, in-house production and strong distribution network. They have built a portfolio of high-quality products that resonate with consumers while ensuring seamless availability across multiple platforms.”
Founded in 2019 by Mayank Sisodia, the company offers eco-conscious home and personal care products. It retails through its website and e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, Flipkart among others.
