Thangamayil Jewellery expands presence with 60th store in Chennai

Thangamayil Jewellery has strengthened its retail presence with the opening of its 60th store in the south Indian city of Chennai.

The store located at T Nagar will be offering the latest jewellery collections in gold, diamond and silver.

On the opening day, the store generated revenue of Rs 16 crore ($1.8 million) from sale of its gold, silver, diamond and other articles with a footfall around 7,250 customers.

“Our goal is to provide exceptional service and build lasting trust with our customers. With this new showroom in Chennai, we aim to meet the jewellery needs of the city’s residents with state-of-the-art facilities and exclusive designs. We are confident that our Chennai customers will extend their support and patronage,” a company spokesperson said in a statement.

With its headquarters in Madurai, Thangamayil Jewellery currently serves over 3 million customers across its 60 branches and plans to expand its presence across the country.
