TBZ Ltd strengthens presence in eastern India, plans expansion in tier 2, 3 cities

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri Ltd (TBZ), a leading jewellery retailer has expanded its retail presence in the eastern region of India with the opening of its new store in Rourkela, Odisha.

The new store opened under the franchise model will house a diverse range of gold, diamond, and platinum jewellery.

TBZ is currently exploring high-potential markets to continue its expansion drive and plans to take the franchise route to open more stores across India in financial year 25.

Commenting on the expansion, Mukesh Sharma, chief financial officer at TBZ Ltd in a statement said, “The launch of our Rourkela franchise store, in addition to our recent franchise store opened in Bhubaneshwar, is not just a step in our retail expansion but also an opportunity to increase our profitability in a growing market.”

“This strategic location allows us to reach new customers while reinforcing our operational efficiency. The growth of the jewellery market in cities like Rourkela gives us the confidence to further strengthen our presence in tier 2 and tier 3 cities,” he added.

TBZ Ltd is one of India’s leading jewellers with 36 stores spread across 25 cities in 12 states. It also sells through its e-commerce website.
