Beauty business Sugar Cosmetics has joined forces with logistics and supply chain business Delhivery to bolster its business to business logistics operations and speed up its B2B consignments to better serve its retail partners.
As part of the agreement, Sugar Cosmetics will be able to utilise Delhivery’s express ‘Part Truck Load’ service for swift B2B delivery as well as its pan-India logistics network and technology, the Press Trust of India reported, citing an official filing. The tie up is designed to facilitate further growth for the beauty brand.
The business has a preexisting relationship with Delhivery as its partner for express shipping for its direct to customer operations. Sugar Cosmetics runs a direct to customer e-commerce store along with a presence on multi-brand online platforms including Nykaa and Amazon India.
Sugar Cosmetics is also continuing to expand its own brand product selection and has debuted a line of nail varnishes specifically designed for manicure style nails, the business announced on Facebook. The ‘Tip Tac Toe’ matte nail lacquer line features 12 bright shades and is formulated in Luxembourg.
Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee launched Sugar Cosmetics as a beauty business in 2015. The brand describes itself as India’s third-largest colour cosmetics label and retails from its e-commerce store as well as its brick-and-mortar outlets in locations including New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Surat among others, according to its website.
