Skincare brand Rodial launches in India with Beautindia

Global skincare brand Rodial has launched in the Indian market with beauty business Beautindia. The brand’s premium skincare meets makeup products have gone live on Nykaa’s e-commerce platform.

“We’ve seen tremendous demand from Indian consumers shopping internationally for Rodial,” said Rodial’s founder Maria Hatzistefanis, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Nykaa’s platform and reach make it the perfect partner to introduce Rodial in India. We’re not just bringing products; we’re bringing a beauty revolution.”

Rodial has launched on Nykaa’s e-commerce platform with a selection of 15 products, priced from Rs 1,500 to Rs 21,300, according to its website. Following its initial launch, Rodial plans to continue to expand its presence in India and will explore launching localised formulas to meet specific Indian skincare needs. 

“At Beautindia our goal is to introduce the finest global beauty brands to Indian consumers,” said Beautindia’s co-founder Kutub Ariwala. “Rodial’s innovative approach to skincare aligns perfectly with the evolving beauty preferences in India. We are proud to bring a brand that blends cutting-edge science with luxury, offering transformative solutions that meet the high standards of today’s skincare enthusiasts.”

Entrepreneur Maria Hatzistefanis launched Rodial in 1999 after moving from Greece to the US and studying at Columbia Business School. One of the brand’s signature products is its anti-ageing ‘Snake Serum,’ which contains a synthetic venom-like peptide, and Rodial retails in over 35 countries worldwide.
