Indian fine jewellery brand and natural diamond specialist Shree Ramkrishna Exports was awarded the ‘Sustainability Leadership Award’ at Hong Kong trade show the Jewellery and Gem World Hong Kong Show 2024.
“We are incredibly proud to receive this award, which validates our unwavering dedication to sustainability,” said Shree Ramkrishna Exports’ entrepreneur and brand custodian Shreyans Dholakia, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team.”
The award was presented by Informa Markets-Asia’s president and CEO Margaret Ma Connolly and was accepted by Utkarsh Narola and Nidhish Narola. The business was awarded for its efforts to drive sustainability in the global jewellery industry and its commitment to environmental stewardship. The business’ flagship facilities SRK House and SRK Empire have both received LEED Platinum certification for sustainable functioning and design and the business describes itself as the world’s first net-zero natural diamond company.
The Jewellery and Gem World Hong Kong Show 2024 took place from September 16 to 20 at the AsiaWorld- Expo and from September 18 to 22 at the Hon Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, according to the trade show’s website. The business to business fair describes itself as “the world’s number one fine jewellery event” and featured more than 40 group and themed pavilions including the ‘International Premier Pavilion’ and the ‘Fine Design Pavilion’ among others.
