From December 6, Bodements and Future Collective’s collaborative fashion, art, and culture event ‘Shelter’ will mix retail with interactive sessions in Bandra, Mumbai featuring three chapters of brand showcases.
Shelter is designed to function as a “dynamic cultural ecosystem,” the event organisers announced in a press release. Designed to foster a sense of community, Chapter One of the fair will run from December 6 to December 18 and will present a selection of fashion, jewellery, and home décor brands.
Participating brands will include Bodice by Ruchika Sachdeva, Urvashi Kaur, Pieux, PDKF, Surily by Surily Goel, House of Malabar, Harago, and Mokae Beauty amongst others. The event segment will also feature Robio Labs x Shelter, a tech-art installation which will include 3D printing.
Chapter Two of the event will run from December 20 to January 2 with a ‘Christmas Soiree and Bazaar’ on December 21 and 22 featuring a range of holiday gifting options. Fashion labels including Arsenic by Mehma Tibb, Strange Shrew, Kichu, Re-ceremonial, Ne-Nepal, and Naushad Ali will feature in this segment.
For Chapter Three, set to run from January 3 to January 12, Shelter will focus on mindfulness, self-care, and renewal for the new year with participating labels including Ehipassika, Kastoor, VER, PDFK, and Loomgi. The event will also feature a ‘Mini Library Curated Experience’ with reading community leader Abhimanyu Lodha which will include a permanent library installation throughout the duration of the pop-up.
