Secret Alchemist, a personal care and wellness brand has raised $500,000 (Rs 4 crore) in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and onboarded actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu as a co-founder. The round also saw participation from Siddharth Shah and Rishubh Satiya.
The company will utilise the funds for scaling up operations, product diversifcation, team expansion, and marketing.
With the onboarding on Prabhu as co-founder, the brand is banking on her widespread popularity, reach & influence in the South Indian markets to fuel its future growth.
Commenting on the investment, Vinay Bansal, founder CEO of Inflection Point Ventures in a statement said, “The beauty segment in India saw a surge in the ’90s, which unfortunately brought unrealistic standards. Secret Alchemist is redefining this by promoting mindful, affordable products that encourage well-being and relaxation. IPV believes in the team’s strong foundation and is committed to supporting their sustainable growth.”

Founded by Sumi Thadani and now led by Ankita Thadani, Akash Valia, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Secret Alchemist retails its products through its website and e-commerce platforms.
