Salute Kerala 2024 honours footwear business VKC’s VKC Razak (#1684296)

Footwear business India’s VKC’s managing director VKC Razak was celebrated as one of the ‘Top Ten Honourees’ at the Salute Kerala 2024 awards ceremony. The awards recognises VKC Razak’s contribution to the industrial and economic advancement of Kerala.

“This honour is not just mine but belongs to every member of the VKC family,” said VKC Razak in his acceptance speech, the brand announced in a press release. “It reflects our collective dedication to excellence and our commitment to driving Kerala’s industrial growth. I am grateful to the Salute Kerala committee for recognising our efforts, and I look forward to continuing this journey of innovation and progress.”
 
The Salute Kerala 2024 awards ceremony was organised by the Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce and was attended by the Kerala State Finance Minister K N Balagopal as well as the opposition leader V D Satheeshan. Other senior government officials, trade organisations, and industry leaders also attended the gala event.
 
VKC Razak was chosen for his work to expand and evolve the VKC footwear business. VKC Razak worked on tailoring the footwear business to the needs of the modern market and increasing sustainability while contributing to Kerala’s industrial development.
 
India’s VKC was established in 1984 and it has a current range of over 1,000 designs. The business’ footwear brands comprise VKC Pride, VKC Debon, GoodSpot, Eezy, Ja.May.Ka, and Debongoo.
