A lawyer for Robert Woodland, a Russian-born US citizen, says he will be appealing his client’s 12.5-year sentence. Woodland was sentenced in a Moscow court on Thursday for attempted drug-trafficking. His lawyer believes Woodland is suffering from mental health issues that should be taken into account by the court.
