Rexona, a deodorant brand by Hindustan Unilever has collaborated with Mumbai Indians to be the official freshness partner for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) T20 cricket tournament.
The partnership will include various campaigns including branding on team jerseys, social media collaborations, fan engagement activities, and more.
Commenting on the association, Vipul Mathur, executive director personal care at Hindustan Unilever in a statement said, “We are proud to partner with Mumbai Indians’ women’s team and bring our A-game with Rexona to the pitch. The association aligns with our core belief in the power of movement to transform lives.”
Nitin Agarwal, chief marketing officer at Unilever International added, “Our partnership with Mumbai Indians is an extension of what Rexona represents – the drive to break limits and achieve your full potential. This gives us a unique opportunity to not just engage with our audience; but also foster self-confidence in a new generation of women athletes.”
WPL featuring five teams is currently underway and will be played till March 15 across multiple cricket venues in the country.
