Reebok has strengthened its retail presence in India with the launch of two new stores in the southern city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
The stores located at Anna Nagar and Phoenix Marketcity were inaugurated by actor and Reebok’s brand ambassador Taapsee Pannu.
The stores will showcase Reebok’s latest collections across running, training, walking, and lifestyle categories.
Commenting on the expansion, Manoj Juneja, CEO of Reebok India in a statement said, “The opening of these new stores in Chennai represents more than just an expansion for Reebok; it symbolizes our deep-rooted commitment to fostering a thriving sports and fitness culture in this vibrant city.”
“With its dynamic spirit and evolving fitness ethos, Chennai presents an opportune landscape for us to further our mission of enabling individuals to lead healthier, more active lives,” he added.
Reebok originally launched in the Indian market with its previous owner Adidas in 2006. Reebok was then acquired by Authentic Brand Group in 2021, after which Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd bought the rights to retail the brand in India.
