Recode Studios enters South Indian market with store in Chennai

Beauty and skincare brand Recode Studios has expanded its retail presence with entry into the south Indian market with a store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The brand has collaborated with Plush Boutique & Beauty Lounge for its Chennai store spanning over an area of 200 square feet.

Recode Studios plans to further strengthen its presence in the South by opening stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Apart from South India, the brand also plans to open stores in other cities like Rudrapur, Lucknow, Pune, Mumbai, Allahabad, Jaipur & Jammu.

Commenting on the expansion, Dheeraj Bansal, co-founder of Recode Studios in a statement said, “We are excited to begin this new journey into the Southern states of India with the launch of our store in Chennai. Our collaboration with Plush Boutique & Beauty Lounge marks a key milestone for Recode Studios as we seek to expand our creative beauty solutions into new markets. Founded in 2018, Recode Studios is eyeing Rs 50 crore ($6 million) in revenue by the end of the 2024 financial year on the back of its ongoing retail expansion. The business reported revenue of Rs 26 crore in the 2023 financial year.
