Nykaa names Abhijeet Dabas as business head for fashion e-commerce

Multi-brand beauty and fashion retail business Nykaa has named Abhijeet Dabas as its new executive vice president and business head for fashion e-commerce. In his new role, Dabas will work to fuel growth at the business, both in India and globally.

“We are delighted to welcome Abhijeet to the Nykaa team,” said Nykaa’s executive chairperson, managing director, and CEO Falguni Nayar, ET Retail reported. “His proven track record in scaling businesses and understanding of the Indian fashion landscape aligns perfectly with our vision for Nykaa Fashion. As we continue to revolutionise the fashion e-commerce experience for Indian consumers, Abhijeet’s leadership will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy and strengthening our market position.”
 
Dabas will be tasked with expanding the reach of Nykaa Fashion in the international market. The executive will also develop strategic partnerships with fashion retailers as well as tend to Nykaa’s relationships with businesses it already works with such as Revolve.
 
Dabas has previously worked for businesses including Myntra, Lazada, and Swiggy among others, according to his Linkedin page. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as executive vice president and business head – fashion e-commerce at Nykaa Fashion,” announced Dabas on Linkedin.
