Beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has strengthened its private brand portfolio with the acquisition of a majority stake in clean beauty brand, Earth Rhythm.
In 2022, Nykaa had bought a minority stake in the brand and now become a majority stakeholder through a mix of primary and secondary transactions.
With this acquisition, Nykaa aims to make deeper inroads in the clean beauty space and plans to leverage its robust ecosystem to further fuel the growth of Earth Rhythm.
Adwaita Nayar, co-founder of Nykaa added, “Earth Rhythm represents an exciting addition to our owned brands portfolio, and it presents an opportunity to expand our play in the clean beauty space, a category with immense long-term potential. We look forward to expanding the reach and accessibility of the brand, ramping up growth by leveraging operational synergies with the Nykaa ecosystem.”

Founded in 2019. Earth Rhythm offers a wide range of certified organic, plant-based, and 99 percent plastic-free beauty products across six categories.
