New Balance launches EBO in Pune’s Phoenix Marketcity

Sports and casual wear business New Balance has launched an exclusive brand outlet in Pune’s Viman Nagar neighbourhood. Located in the city’s Phoenix Marketcity mall, the store retails footwear and apparel for men and women.

New Balance’s launch takes its Pune store total to two, the brand announced in a press release. The label had launched its first Pune store in Phoenix Wakad earlier this year. The brand’s product selection features its ‘Fresh Foam X’ and ‘FuelCell’ technologies designed for both performance and casual wear.
 
“We have received a great response from Pune after our initial launch and the city’s vibrant sports culture reinforces our commitment to expanding here,” said New Balance’s country manager for India Radeshwer Davar in a press release. “Through this new store in Phoenix Market city, Viman Nagar, we want to give the people of Pune greater access to our brand and continue to offer an elevated brand experience.”
 
New Balance’s brand history dates back to 1906 and the label is based in Boston in the US. In 2023, New Balance reported a global sales total of $6.5 billion and the business counts five athletic footwear factories in New England, US and one in the UK.
